Hi! My name is Denise. I am an experienced pet sitter originally from Brisbane, Australia. I am a 27 year old science/journalism graduate working in London as a Project Coordinator in public health research.

I started petsitting with Pawshake back in 2018 in Brisbane, and I have a wide-ranging history in loving and caring for dogs and cats, big and small from a sitter and owner’s perspective. From bichon frises to malamutes to persians to ragdolls, and am not afraid to get my hands dirty. Much like humans, I understand that our pets have distinct personalities and circumstances and should be treated as such. I am also a lover birds, rabbits, any animal really. I live a fit and active lifestyle and am more than capable of crawling, jumping and chasing after little furballs. I am dependable, have a can-do attitude and apply myself to every situation I face with gusto.

SERVICES:

I offer house sitting, pet walking and house visit services at short notice. I adjust walking duration and location to suit the individual pet's needs. House visits last for at least an hour, and longer if I have the capability to do so. I am available for long and short term house sits.

Comfortable with administering medication and offer some light grooming if necessary. Also happy to bring in mail, water plants and/or take out bins.

AVAILABILITY:

I work 5 days a week Mon-Fri from 9am-5pm so am available for pet services from about 6pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, and in Holborn on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays. If booking me for a house sit during the week, please note that I will need to be out of the house during work hours for my in-office days.

LOCATIONS:

I am based in Tyburnia in Zone 1, but am happy to travel to most areas within Zone 1 and 2 in London. Also available for house sitting outside of London if on the weekends. Please note I do not have a car so will be travelling by public transport.
