I'm Caroline, I've recently moved back to London from Australia with my partner Matt and my soul mate Wednesday (who is a cat). I currently work in technology for a biodiversity-related institution, and love that my work contributes even in a tiny way towards mitigating the climate crisis.
I've been housesitting for approximately 10 years, initially for family in Scotland and friends in London, but then worldwide via TrustedHousesitters (Matt and I are 5 star sitters on the site, happy to provide the link to our profile). We "foster failed" in 2019 and adopted our mischievous cat Wednesday, because I fell in love with her in about 2 minutes flat.
I have a full & clear UK Disclosure Certificate.
I have lifelong experience looking after animals having grown up on a farm in Aberdeenshire. I'll make friends with dogs, cats, sheep, chickens, ducks, fish, goats, bearded dragons, and so on. I love petsitting because the more time with animals, the better. I'm very comfortable looking after animals with special requirements, and happy to communicate with the vet if required. I'm very organised, tidy and respectful, and happy to water plants and collect the mail!
I am happy to do whatever your pets need - feeding, walking, playing, giving treats, giving medication, cleaning litter trays, deep and meaningful chats, the works.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.

This was our second time asking Caroline to look after our cat. She was really great once again, even coming a bit earlier one day to look for our cat who had gone wandering. I don’t know how she gets such lovely photos of the cat - maybe he’s happier with her than us! 😁
Caroline has been wonderful, she sent constant updates with photos and videos and she was really attentive, noticing that our automatic feeder stopped working and needed a reset. It was great having her look after our kitty!
