I've always loved animals. We had cats, dogs, hamsters and horses growing up so they were a big part of my life. Now I have two toddlers (who are fairly like little animals some of the time 😉) and two cats which keeps me busy but we really miss having a pup.

I've been dog walking and pet sitting since 2021 and have a lot of experience with different breeds, reactive dogs and puppies. We usually go for hour long walks and I'll make sure pups are dried off and happy before I leave them. We're so lucky to live in Sheffield with so many beautiful places to walk, if it's warm weather I'll stick to shady woodlands. I also listen to any advice from owners as to where their dog likes to go the best. Unless specifically requested all walks are done on the lead to keep your dog safe. I've also had the pleasure of looking after cats in their home quite a lot which I love doing. This can be for a few visits over the time required or I also do house stays with pets.

When I care for an animal I ensure is tailored specifically to that pet, they are a huge part of a family and it's important that you feel heard as their owner. When I look after puppies I am calm and ensure I follow the training disciplines you are using. I will be calm with any animal I am lucky to look after, waiting for them to come to me and building up the relationship up without rushing it.

As mentioned I have two toddlers so I started dog walking and pet sitting as it gives me flexibility to be with the boys as much as possible. My partner is also a dog walker so we can rely on each other to look after the kids during our different jobs which means I can be available last minute if required.

I have an advanced DBS (previous teaching assistant) and I am doggie first aid training. I'm also fully insured.
