Hi, I'm Philippa and have been a pet and house sitter since 2016. I have a wide range of experience looking after dogs, (including untrained puppies), cats, horses, farm livestock and small little furry friends too.  

I am an English medical professional and I lived in New Zealand for 8 years undertaking house and pet sitting for the majority of that time. I have owned 3 dogs (all Vizslas) from 8 weeks old an trained each of them to be well-trained companions. I understand and appreciate that pets need company, stimulation, routines and love. I am a Health Care Professional who is trust worthy, honest and reliable.

Luckily, I work remotely (as does my partner) and so between us, your pet would likely never need to be alone. My partner was brought up with dogs her whole life and cares for her mother's dog whenever she goes away on holiday- which isn't as often as we would like as we love looking after Harry so much!  

When I moved back to London from New Zealand I made the hard (but kindest) decision to leave my 3 Vizslas there so they could hurtle about on the enormous farm they grew up on. I miss them hugely but it wouldn't have been fair to radically alter their lifestyle so much just because I wanted them in London. It is this that has led me to join Pawshake as I miss my dogs so much and tending to their needs.
