My name is Maris, I am 36 years old and originally from Brazil - but I hold settled status in the UK. I recently moved back to London after two amazing years spent pet/housesitting full time in New Zealand.

I have been a full-time pet and house sitter since 2020, with over 50 five-star reviews across two other platforms that I can share with you! During this time, I have completed pet housesits ranging from 2 nights to 6 months, gaining extensive experience with a wide variety of animals and routines.

Alongside my partner, I have provided full-time care for indoor and outdoor cats (including friendly and feral cats), kittens and puppies, senior pets, disabled animals, as well as small, medium and large dogs, often caring for multiple pets in the same household. I am experienced with pets that require medication, special care and feeding tubes (e-tube). I have also cared for chickens, birds, rats, rabbits and fish.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with pets that came into my life as babies and stayed until their last day. Over the years, I had two Weimaraners, two Poodles, a Labrador, and three cats. My last two pets sadly passed away after long, happy lives, shortly before I decided to travel the world full-time as a pet and house sitter. Since then, I have dedicated my time and care to other people’s pets, and while they are with me, I truly treat them as my own.

I genuinely remember every single pet I have cared for and miss each one dearly. Being invited back for repeat sits is something I value deeply and consider the greatest compliment.

Vaccination status is discussed and agreed upon in advance with each owner, ensuring the well-being and safety of the pets in my care.

Services I offer:

Daily Visits

I am happy to visit your home to feed your pets, administer medication if needed, clean their areas, play and provide companionship, water plants, collect mail, and take bins out. Visit length can be discussed and agreed upon, and I will always send photos and videos after each visit.

Dog Walking & Cat Playtime

I am happy to walk your dog(s) on your preferred route, or spend dedicated time exercising and engaging with your cat. The minimum session is 30 minutes, with flexibility for longer sessions of up to 2 hours if desired.

Pet & House Sitting

I am available to stay in your home from one night onwards, with no maximum length — long sits are very welcome. While house sitting, I am also happy to help with gardening, basic household care, tidying up, and other small tasks, depending on your needs.
