Hello there !  

I'm Lana (or Svitlana if you prefer full name) and I'm 33y.o . neurologist from Ukraine that is currently stuck in never ending health problems loop yet still slowly preparing to take PLAB test to be able practice in the UK, hopefully in the future.

My little family have been living in Brighton and Hove for 5+ year now.( Me, my partner, my older cat from Ukraine and yangster londoner cat )) 

Im autistic ( still in a waiting list hehe with ADHD) and my safe and beloved areas of interest always has been animals and plants , biology and books.

I have some chronic illness and they do impact my daily life but i need to clarify that if I am taking the job- that only means that I am fully aware of my capacity at that moment and that the job ( aka care for your pet family members) would be provided in full and on my highest standards an you will be provided with all reports , photos and whatever we agreed to in terms of any additional services for your pet! 

Mobility moment: 

Due to heart condition( it's clear now that it's *just * POTS)and recent displaced heelbone fracture 🥲 witch are both under control now as well as that could be there is a important location/distance related moment:                                                                       -I would be keen to cover up to 1-2 miles around area where I live (bn3 3PT) , or im happy to go by bus if you wish to hire me to look after your pet in a bit more distant location ( I'm not yet sure how this option works here after updating in transport expenses).                                                                              - In case of dog walking it would also give me a bit more energy pull for walk and play with a doggo, might be some brushing in the park while chilling between playing etc.. 

I'M BACK TO DOG WALKING 😊 While I am happy to admit I am firmly on my legs again i would be happy to take care of small and medium dogs ( oh well,or very VERY calm well behaved bigger dogs) now while I'm gaining more strength in my leg) 

At first i came here to be your pet sitter: cats, rats,birds , kittens who require attention during the day while you are at work etc.

 Can do home sitting with cats or dogs, or just visits for couple of hours to your place to check how is doggy staying alone during the day too if you away or just need to leave dog home for any reason.

Dog companionship for the day at your place  available  and also could be discussed (depends on time you need me in could be dog walking price + additional hourly rate we will agree beforehand). 

I am not able to do dogs day care  at my place as my older cat has PTSD and it would be too much stress for her, sorry .

I'm a non smoker, vegan, tidy and quiet person who would be in a corner with pets at every party , or checking and admiring bookshelf and plants 😅😀.i also would be trying to make a beautiful portrait of your pet for you ( off course any pet photos would be shared only if you will give me permission to do so) 

Safety :

Please, let me know if you or anyone in your household has COVID , Flu like symptoms or feel unwell so I can wear a face mask during taking the dog for a walk as I would meet other people and do not want to be a transmitter. Please feel free to ask if you want me to wear a face mask during greet& meet etc.

I'm voting for safe and healthy experience so I do care if my clients ( animals) are up to date with their vaccines and flee/tic & worm treatments , including fully indoor pets💙 

I will also ask you if i could give a treat to your pet and if yes then what kinds of treats are approved and safe for your pet, what the limit. And if you want us to do any regular commands for dogs and cats( as part of playing) , brushing their fur, or anything else.

I do routinely ask about the allergies, ongoing health problems and your regular vet practice and nurse ( where they know and treat your pet regularly for those ongoing issues so in case of any emergency as soon as I contact you I would have a plan for the situation where vet might be needed)

I have two cats!

Zelda is 3,5y.o. tuxedo shorthair kitto who is a professional performer of evening zoomies and fetching toysMmoreover she would bring toys to you when in mood to play, even if you were still sleeping. She is not really a hug-cat while do demand loudly her daily back/butt scratches and forehead bumping ..aand come to sleep on me when think that I'm asleep xD

Liennael or Lina is 9.7 y.o . tortoise longhair judging chunk-pyramidal cat ). Still very playful though.Loves to play with fiddly worm and feather teaser wands and tag with Zelda. Lina is definitely a lapcat- as soon as you just start bending your legs to sit down she would be there : SLOOOWLY PUTTING HERSELF AS CLOSE AS SHE COULD TO YOUR CHEST AND THEN FALLS ASLEEP IN ONE SECOND.

I grew up with a wonderful and intelligent cat Liza ,she passed away at 16. After that, in a few years I adopted a kitty with multiple congenital defects after her cat-mom passed away during labour. That was hard but full of love and tenderness 4 years.

I'm also in love with rats, mice, hamsters,lizards, dogs, ( actually, I could easily stuck here, listing all kinds of animals)))

As to hobbies I'm playing piano, painting, do some embroidery, like to spend time with friends playing board games as well as going to the walk or bouldering /long sword session.Oh, and I also taking violin classes now,and definitely obsessed with plants! 😅

Oh, I would say I'm a great cat entertainer ( u know.. If you would not play with a cat, cat would find itself what to play with and it's not always smth U wish cat to play with)).. I probably have a degree in a litterbox archeology 😅 I would not be able to stop talking to your cat, especially if it's chatty! Could pet, cuddle, talk ,give treats or just sit there together- whatever the catto would be keen to. 

  Due to heart related condition( i have EDS , POTS, disautonomia ) I would be keen to cover  up to 2 miles ( still feel free to me as i might be in your area) and up to 3.6 miles for petsitting service around area where I live if on the bus route (bn3 3PT) and we can figure something out.

I'M BACK TO DOG WALKING 😊 While I am happy to admit I am firmly on my legs again i would be happy to take care of small and medium dogs ( oh well,😆or very VERY calm well behaved bigger dogs , that don't tend to pull much, maybe with short test-walk to know each other 😅 )  ( it would be a bit too much strain straight away now, with temperamental lively dogs that might like to pull frequently, i hope I will be back soon at full capacity 🙏) just for now, for a month or so while I'm gaining more strength) 

As I am in a spectrum I am always looking for an after visit/walk few words in chat if is everything ok and dog/cat happy about walk ( with cat sitting it's not possible obviously until you're back)) as I always do want all my animal clients ( first of all them and then of course owners))) be happy. Would also be glad to hear suggestions if anything else you want to add or change etc.
