We are a queer friendly couple aged 25 & 26, looking to explore the UK now that I (Ruby) have finished university. Having around 10 years each of personal pet care from our home lives, family members and friends, we have spent the last year professionally petsitting and building up our expertise and we're now super excited to connect with pet parents on pawshake! 

My bachelors degree was in Marine Biology and my postgraduate degree was in Animal Behaviour, so I am a huge animal lover and passionate about travelling to experience new places, cultures and people. Maxwell studied social sciences, such as psychology and sociology, and is now a proud "house-hubby" who finds lots of joy in caring for places and pets. He loves to travel around and is never in one place for too long! 

I'm currently employed as an ecologist doing bat activity surveys around the country. We're both quite artsy so love to create things, watch anime and spend time in nature. We look forward to meeting lots of new people and pets!

✨️Services✨️

🐾 Petsitting~

We offer pet sitting in the owners home and are more than happy to do long sits. We have 20+ logged petsits on trusted house sitters with our longest being up to 3 weeks! Just ask and we would love to show you our glowing reviews and can even provide references from our repeat bookings. We are happy to administer vitamins and oral medication, as well as offer some light grooming such a brushing fur and teeth, and keeping ontop of already established training routines.

🐾 Walks~

Our standard walks are usually 30 minutes at the nearest green spot or beach, though we can of course take your pets favourite route instead! Please feel free to inquire about longer walks and multiple pets. 

🐾 Home visits~

We are happy to pop into local homes to feed pets and let them out, these visits are usually 30 minutes long so we can give some attention, food and an appropriate time for any outdoor relief! We would also be willing to do small tasks like bring in the mail or water indoor plants. We can offer 1x or 2x visits per day.

We charge £15 per night for additional pets. For bookings beginning before 9.30am, we charge £10 per extra hour. Some bookings may also be charged travel costs, though we are happy to travel within Brighton for free. Don't let any of this put you off though as we welcome discussions and deal making!
