Do you worry about your pets safety and whether they will get enough interaction while you are away?
Do you worry about finding a professional pet sitter that will actually understand signs of illness in prey animals and what to look out for?
Will your little critter get the attention and mental stimulation they deserve on a daily basis?
What about an emergency? Will they know what to do if the hamster somehow escapes? If your rabbit shows signs of illness? If your guinea pig gets a piece of hay in their eye?
These are what I worry about when I go away too, and although boarding at a rescue can be great to have someone know what to do in an emergency, I don’t fancy my spoilt piggies being kept in a pet store cage while I’m away!
Because of this I provide a service that can take away all those worries, leaving your pets in total safety whilst having a great time in the comfort of their own home.
Specialising in rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters.
I'm Lucy, and am a full time secondary school teacher.
I have been pet sitting professionally for the past few years, and do visits during term time early morning and late afternoon/evening for a small selective number of clients.
Of course outside of term time I am available during the day also, where you may have children you take on holiday and would like someone professional to care for your pets.

Second time Lucy has looked after our cat. All went very smoothly and we will definitely look to book with her in the future.
Lucy visited our house to feed our Cat Luna while we were away on holiday. She sent us daily updates and photos of our kitty. Luna was entirely comfortable with Lucy and even played and sought a fuss from Lucy in the photos that we received. We couldn't have been happier.
Canine First Aid training - this fantastic course not only covered how to deal specifically with dogs in an emergency by a qualified vet, but which of these skills are transferable to cats and small animals such as rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs. I always carry a first aid kit for emergencies, whether it may be an injured paw when out walking or infacol for guinea pig bloat. I have dealt with many of my own small pet emergencies and will always comminicate with owners firstly, however should this not be possible at the time, I ask you upon meet and greet to sign a veterinary release form so that you can feel confident that your pet's safety comes first and are in the care of someone who will put them first in an emergency.
