I am a qualified Dog Trainer, Canine Nutrionalist and currently studying a Canine First Aid diploma. Last year a friend and I opened our very own Dog School and have never looked back!! We work with all breeds and ages, from Pups to adults and everything in between, due to popular demand from our customers, we now offer other Dog related services, from walks, to home visits, pet sitting and day care.
I 'stumbled' into this proffession a few years back after we got our first dog. I attended local dog training classes, as my pup got older my enthusiasm for all things 'canine' increased, I put myself through training and have loved every minute of it!. It seems to be becoming a family thing now as my daughters are also heavily involved in our Dog School and help me with walks and boarding etc, whilst working and training to be dog trainers themselves :)
Dog Walking - Exactly what it says on the tin!! A good ole fashioned brisk walk around and brought back home (please note in extreme hot weather we will not walk you dog at certain times of the day due to thier health & well being)
Home Visits We will come and collect your dog, take them for a walk, or a play on your garden (depending on the weather, see above), we will refresh thier water, clean up any little spills or 'accidents' and leave out any food as requested.
Day Care - per 8 hour booking, typical day
- 2 x 20 t0 30minute walks, outside play sessions, a bit of training (we will talk to you about anything you are trying to work on to work alongside with you) plenty of naps!! Meals 2/3 times per day depending on age and your feeding patterns and lots of cuddles!!
Overnight Boarding - per 24 hours, typical day / night - looks very much like the above, but we will take you dog to Dog Training school on the relevent evenings / weekends that your dog is with us. This is a great way for your dog to socialise and participate in some class training for free.
Dogs are such clever, intuitive animals, they are masters at reading body language and thier enviroments, we try hard to 'replicate' a 'home from' home enviroment, by copying your sleeping arrangmeents, sticking to your feeding patterns and asking you to bring something that smealls of home when staying with us.
Creating a bond with your dog is imprtant to us, promoting trust and respect between both us is important to successful stay and getting the most out of the time wie have with your dogs, so we will always try to a little bit of training, taking your lead (no pun intended ha ha) to work on anything you may be trying to achieve, not only is this healthy and mentally stimulating for your dog, it is also a great way to have a bit of fun with them.
We are fully insured, practice within COVID guidelines and take all precautions when looking after your dog/s.

Tina was fabulous with my dog and I had no doubts he was in safe hands and enjoying his holiday as much as we were enjoying ours. He is treated as one of the family at Tinas house and we got lots of photos keeping us up to date. I would highly recommend Tina.
Tina was great, would book again!
