I adore animals, their charm and quirks. I've always had cats (I think I've had 8 in the last 23 years) and they really make the house a home - I love how they all have their own personalities and can truly tell you what they want. I can read their expressions, whether it's "leave me alone" or "I want to play."

Although I have more experience with cats, I am also a dog lover who has spent time with several of my friends' dogs. I'd love to sit for pets who want cuddling, but I'm aware that not all pets enjoy affection, so I go by their wishes.

Due to my cat, I would be unable to welcome dogs at my home, but I would be delighted to come to you. I'll be able to provide medication through meals during visits, but any other method would be difficult. I'm happy to water the plants and collect mail, anything to make your life a little easier!

I work as a freelancer, so my hours are flexible and I operate from a laptop the majority of the time, making it easier for me to assist you and your pets. During a home visit, I can stay with the pet for up to 40 minutes at a time, but if they're begging for attention, I'll find it difficult to say no and will most likely stay a little longer. In terms of security measures, I used to work as an estate agent, and I can't tell you how many times I went back to a property to double-check that it was locked, even though I knew I had done so - you know that feeling, right?

I like to care for small/medium dogs in general, however I could be flexible depending on the service necessary. Dog walks might last up to 30 minutes, depending on the length of the route and where you reside. As a female with a dog, I wouldn't be keen on walking in the dark in a quiet place.

For cats, I'm used to all different cats (from begging to be picked up, to having to dodge a swipe), so happy to cat sit for any kitty.

I'd be delighted to be your pet sitter while you're away, and to help ease your pets' fears, as I understand that this may be a stressful adjustment for some animals!
