Hello dear reader,

My name is Bernadett but please call me Berni. I am a 27 years old bubbly girl with an unconditional love for animals. Originally I am from Hungary. I moved to the UK many years ago. Currently, I live in Tidworth with my family

I grew up around animals. I could ride a horse before I could walk and basically my cradle was guarded by dogs. I've loved animals since I can remember and based on some videos even before that - there is a video of me falling out of my little pushchair as a toddler just because I wanted to pet a pony - I do not remember this particular case but the video serves as proof :)

I used to be a volunteer at some local animal shelters (in Austria and Hungary) for years. My job was to take doggies for long walks in the park, teach them how to walk on a leash, clean their kennels and to get them used to human touch when it was needed. I used to work with cats as well less frequently though. I honestly loved everything about being a volunteer there. Just seeing how happy a little caring made those animals made my days and was worth every drop of sweat.

We have a dog, called Luna. We rescued her from Hungary about 3 years ago. She is a Rottweiler criss Giant Schnauzer but she is convinced she's a lapdog. She adores all other dogs and she is really good around small animals. We used to have hamsters and rabbits - sadly on the other side of the rainbow bridge by now.
