Me (Sofia) and my husband (Chris) decided to join Pawshake and open our home to being sitters after struggling to find somewhere for Fish, our Cockapoo, to go whilst we went on holiday.

Alot of our friends and family constantly said to just put him in kennels but we both agreed we would rather not go on holiday than do that to him. 

Fish loves the sofa and cuddles and people...he would hate being in a kennel, but finding an alternative solution was so hard. 

So, we both talked about it and decided that there must be other people out there struggling like this so it's a nice way to meet new puppers and also earn some pocket money for Fish. 

We have a detached house with a decent-sized enclosed garden with lots of different areas to explore. Chris works fully remote from home and I work from home 3 - 4 days per week so your pupper wont be on their own!

Now onto the star of the show...Fish...yes that is his real name! He is a 6 year old cockapoo that I am sure is secretly human. He loves other dogs and loves people! He is allowed in every room of the house, the sofa, the bed...and your dog would be allowed to do the same. 

Our view is this house is his whole world and we wont confine him to just part of it. 

Me and Chris have grown up with dogs are whole lives and like dogs much more than people! We are experienced with all different kinds of breeds. 

We would only look to take one dog at a time so they can make sure they have their own human for fusses. The only exception would be if it was two dogs coming from the same household. 

We would require all dogs to be vaccinated and flea and worm treated before we took them, and wouldn't be willing to take any dog that didn't like Fish as his safety is obviously important. 

We can send as many videos, text and face times as you would like and adhere to any routines. Trust me, I am a stressy dog mum so can empathise with any worries you may have and will do everything to put any fears aside for you so you can enjoy your break!
