About Penelope

I care deeply about animals and have a natural empathy with them. So much so that I chose to undertake an HND in Animal Studies at Berkshire College of Agricultural and achieved a merit award. This included animal behaviour and husbandry. I have had many pets in my life including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, budgies, goldfish, a bearded dragon and a tortoise. Some of which have required the administration of medication including insulin injections for diabetes and painkilling medication for arthritis. I am also a vegetarian for ethical reasons 🫶

I am 45 years old and I live alone apart from my sweet dog. I work as a medical secretary which is fully working from home, so your pet will always have me around unless I pop to the shop or have to go out briefly. I live on a farm (horse paddocks) in the New Forest with plenty of lovely walks on my doorstep. I also have a garden. I want my little guests to feel at home, so they are welcome to utilise the furniture and sleep in my bedroom with me if that's usually allowed at home ☺️

I offer visits to your home to feed and look after cats, rabbits, and other small pets. I also do boarding in my home but please note that I do have a dog of my own, so I can only accept one dog at a time. For house-sitting, my dog will have to accompany me. There are no other animals or children in my home. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask ❤️

A little about my dog Ripley, she is nearly 4, a cocker x collie, and has a lovely temperament. Since 8 weeks old she has been used to cats and rabbits, and she is well socialised and enjoys the company of other dogs 💕

Lots of love, Penny 🫶
