Hello! I am a researcher for the university of Leeds and a massive animal lover. Unfortunately due to work commitments and future travel plans I cannot commit to getting a pet myself so would love to help you out with yours instead!
I am happy to look after any type of animal although I have no experience with reptiles. The majority of my experience is with dogs, I have grown up with dogs all my life, and love them all - big or small, lazy or hyperactive, shy or very friendly! I have lots of experience dog and cat sitting and have been a dog-sitter on this website since September 2017.
I live in a house in Headingley with a small private garden and a larger shared garden, I am happy to relax with the animals indoors or take them on long walks either in Leeds (I live very close to the Meanwood Valley Trail and Beckett park) or driving out to somewhere further afield. I am also happy to look after your animals in your own home but this will be mainly restricted to weekends - this can be discussed.
I work in Leeds Mon-Fri so will be unable to look after your dog for the whole day during the week, however I have flexible hours and can work from home so will try to spend as much time as possible at home during the day, my boyfriend will also help out and works near our home so can take any dogs out for walks at lunchtime.
I have a car so am happy to drive to your home.

So pleased to have found Catriona. She provided a home from home for Winnie whilst I was away, sending me regular updates and photos so I knew Winnie was being well looked after. Winnie isn't the easiest dog but Cat only takes one dog at a time which initially was the main reason I contacted Cat, however as soon as I met her she put my mind at rest and I knew she would be the perfect sitter. I can't thank Cat enough and would definitely use her sitting services again in future.
My lovely lurcher Indi had a great time with Catriona and she would absolutely love to go back for another stay.
When I collected her she seemed to be really happy and settled just like at home.
