My Background

From a young age I have grown up having pets. Through having pets throughout my childhood, I learnt how to give them the right love and care that they needed. The first dog I ever had was an English Bullmastiff called Simba, she spent her lifetime living with me and my family. While we had Simba we then had another dog called Zuka. He is a cross between an English Bullmastiff and an Italian Masstiff, also known as a Cane Corso. I have watched him grow up from a puppy to age 11. I remember when I was younger I wanted to walk them both, but as I was so much smaller I wasn't able to. I looked after Zuka for my Dad at times, sadly Zuka passed away in 2023.

My Motivation and Experience

As I have experience with looking after both cats and dogs, I was excited when I found out that I could have the opportunity to take care of other peoples pets as well. I love animals and would really enjoy meeting and caring for many more. I have experience with looking after bigger dogs, as Zuka is a Bullmastiff breed. Therefore I would feel comfortable and confident with looking after a dog that's big or small. I have looked after 4 dogs at the same time.
