Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

I have always been very partial to dogs, having grown up with four Border Collies and one German Shepherd, instead of brothers and sisters! My family’s love and training of dogs had a huge impact on my regard and understanding of them. I love every breed and all idiosyncrasies, and have much experience of walking and caring for many different breeds as well as very old and disabled dogs, some in my local community. Excellent references can be provided for this.

I have always been crazy about cats also and have two of my own, and would have many more if it it was not necessary to preserve the sanity of the rest of the household! My second cat Arthur is a recent family member and a rescue cat, as he was previously a homeless tomcat, but is now very happily settled. Apart from having had the experience of looking after cats as pets all my life I have been looking after somebody else's six cats during extensive holiday periods, e.g. six weeks, for a number of years. Excellent references can be acquired in relation to this also.

I am very happy to care for pets anywhere in Leicestershire but regrettably a small charge may have to be incurred for petrol for some distances.
