Hi,

My name's Cassy and I adore animals (except maybe spiders, but I never kill them, always catch and release). I am a 36 year old, part time Fashion and Textiles Technician at a Further Education College.

I’ve always had dogs throughout my life, mostly rescues, some with severe behavioural issues. I have personal experience with Irish Setters, Staffordshire bull terriers, Springer Spaniels, Cocker Spaniels, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Pugs, Dobermans, and French Bulldogs. Although I haven’t come across a dog I haven’t taken to yet. When I haven’t had dogs I’ve looked after friends and families dogs like they were my own. My motivation to join Pawshake is to provide the kind of pet care that I would want for my own animals, a home away from home where dogs can be taken on walks, they can play and nap in a happy, safe, secure environment so that you don’t have to worry about leaving them.

I share my lovely cosy home with my Fiancé and our animals, 3 lop eared rabbits, Lupe, Diego and Elvira (who live in a secured giant shed they have free run of), and a friendly 9 month Springer Spaniel called Albert.

There are several parks near us such as Washbrook Nature Area, Aylestone Leisure Centre Park, Aylestone Meadows, Victoria Park and Knighton Park. All are excellent places for long and short dog walks. Although if your dog or dogs have a favourite walk I’d be more than happy to take them there.

Our house is semi detached, dogs are all allowed free reign downstairs. We have a cosy living/dining room as well as an open plan kitchen for them to run around or take a nap in. Social distancing is easy, guests can access the property via the secure side gate, that leads to a large fenced back garden, that dogs can also run riot in.

My services:

Doggy Day Care:

8 hours of care. Drop off at any time. The dogs can play to their hearts content in the back garden or in the house. I can send videos and/or photos to you to let you know how they’re getting on. I will be there for all 8 hours to keep an eye on them.

Dog walking:

1 hour dog walk with myself and Albert, at a local park or nature reserve, or if you’d prefer to specify where we go that’s absolutely fine. I can send photos and/or video to let you know how they got on, on their walk.

Home visits:

1 hour home visit. I can feed, water and play with your pet/ pets for 1 hour. I can send photos and/ or video to let you know how they got on

Housesitting:

12 hour stays with your pet/ pets. I will walk them for 1 hour, play, feed and water your pet/ pets, ensure your house and your pets are well looked after. I can also send updates of your pet/pets.For my job I am DBS checked, if you would like to see my DBS certificate please let me know.
