I am a self-employed (writer & portrait artist) & I share my life with with a 15-year-old rescued English Bull Terrier cross & one rescued moggy, who is an ebullient nine years old.
I owned a pet & house sitting business in Seattle, Washington for seven years &, when I moved to the UK in 2000, my business partner took over the running of it. I've missed it, though, meeting new friends - so I'm lucky to have found Pawshake.
I've got experience working in rescues (primarily as a volunteer) with cats, dogs, bunnies, pigs, cows, horses, goats. I love them all! It would be a stretch to say that I'm an expert in large animal care, but I do have a number of years' experience with cats, dogs, rats & buns.
In your absence, I'd love to step into your shoes & be the one to make sure that your four-legged friends are as happy as can be expected without their favourite human(s) about. It's a responsibility that I don't enter into lightly. Your family is my family when I'm looking looking after them & I will ensure their security, health & happiness.
NB: there may be a petrol & time surcharge (pursuant to prior agreement) added to those clients who live 20 minutes' or more travel time from my immediate area. I am willing to negotiate this on a case-by-case basis.

I have used Kat for over two years and she has been wonderful. A real treasure!
Kat is always totally reliable. The animals adore her so I can always go away without any worries.
7 full years as a professional pet & house sitter & over three years part-time since starting up again.
