Growing up, I had smaller pets like birds and rabbits, but never a dog or cat (house moves and family logistics were relentless, and yes, I was devastated). Not having furry friends at home only made me more determined to spend time with animals. they genuinely make me happiest. I’ll happily stop strangers on the street to say hello to their dog, and I even found a local farm I visit daily just to stroke the goats (don’t tell them, but I think they like it too).
