Hello and welcome to my page ! My name is Alison and I'm very proud to be known as the 'cat mummy' and ‘cat-whisperer’ among my family and friends. Since childhood, I've shared my life with my adorable feline friends, and I am at my happiest when spending time with my purrfect companions. My extensive experience includes over 30 years of caring for cats, which includes being ‘cat-mum’ to 8 cats of my own, all with different personalities and care-needs. I currently have 3 rescue cats of my own. I have many years of cat-sitting experience for others. I am experienced in cat health & safety and administering oral medications. I have the skills to ensure that all of your cat's needs are met with diligence and care. I am skilled in calming shy and timid cats, thanks to my quiet, patient and gentle personality. I’m always caring and respectful towards cats and understand that it takes time and patience for a cat to feel at ease with new people. I am equipped in handling cats in the correct ways, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.  

I am happy to look after small pets too and have experience of caring for Gerbils, Hamsters, Guinea Pigs, Chinchillas, Fish and Chickens.

The important stuff:

Locations: Littlehampton, Wick, Arundel, Angmering and Rustington

Rates: For up to 3 pets/cats, 1 visit per day £12 GBP or 2 visits a day £16 GBP (30 minutes per visit)

Prior to booking, we can have a meet & greet with you and your pet(s) to see if we would be a good fit!

Weekly availability:

- Everyday: mornings between 7am-9am, evenings after 5pm

My home-visit services:

Services included during home visits:

- Care of up to 3 pets (cat and small animal, exc. dogs and ferrets) included in price

- Keeping in contact with you regarding any changes with your pet(s), and if required bringing your pet(s) to the vet when agreed to by the owner or in an emergency

- Feeding your pet(s) as required

- Providing access to fresh water

- Cat(s) able to use the toilet (litter tray or access to outside) as needed

- Basic medication (non-injectables)

- Cat/pet(s) are kept in a hygienic condition - any messes of the pet are cleaned up, and any signs of illness or injury are reported to the owner

- Basic grooming

- Spending time with the cat/pet(s) and playing with them

- Small pets: my service includes taking care of small pets (exc. ferrets), which includes tidying cages, feeding, and doing a full clean of cages if the booking is more than 4 days

- House / flat/ apartment locked up and secured after the booking (please provide all details to ensure this)

- All keys returned at the end of booking as instructed by you

- Mail collected

- Rubbish/Trash taken out if needed (please provide details of bin collection days)

- Basic house plant watering and garden pots

Expected from you as an owner:

As a sitter, I want the best for your cat/pet(s), so please provide the following information so that you can relax knowing everything is taken care of:

- Please disclose any behavioural issues of your cat/pet(s)

- Please write down any special requirements or instructions including portion sizes of food, if applicable

- Please label any medication properly, include clear dosage instructions, timings (if applicable), and whether it needs to be taken with food

- Please share information about where the cat/pet(s) is allowed to go (include details of access to cat flap), and where your cat(s) should use the toilet (outside or litter tray). If a litter tray is provided, please ensure enough litter is available for the sitting period

- Please provide emergency contact details

- Please provide details of usual vet practice

- Please ensure enough food is provided for the entire sitting period

- Easy and safe access provided to the house / apartment for your pet (and me)

- Food and cleaning supplies in a convenient location

- If you have a security camera(s), inside or outside the house, please disclose this before the booking
