Hello and welcome ! I'm Alison from Kittykats Cat and Small Pet-Sitting.

I'm very proud to be known as the ‘cat-whisperer’ among my family and friends. My extensive experience includes over 30 years of caring for cats, including 10 of my own. I currently have 5 rescue cats. I have many years of cat-sitting experience and can administer oral medications (non-injectables). I'm skilled in calming timid cats, thanks to my gentle personality. I’m always caring, respectful and understand that it can take time and patience for them to feel at ease with new people.

I'm happy to look after small pets too including Gerbils, Hamsters, Guinea Pigs, Chinchilla and Fish. I look forward to meeting you and your precious pets and providing them with the best care while you're away! Cats and small pets only (sorry, I'm not a dog sitter). 

I can provide more than 2 daily visits if required, simply make 2 + separate bookings for the same day. 

Prior to booking, we can have a free no obligation Meet & Greet with you and your pet(s) to see if we're a good fit!

The important stuff: 

If you're happy to go ahead with me as your sitter, I kindly ask that you confirm the booking within 24 hours of our 'Meet and Greet', to ensure you get me for the dates you require and hence to avoid disappointment. Thank you x

 Weekly availability:

- Everyday: between 7.30am - 10pm

Visit services:

- Care of up to 3 pets (cat and small animal, exc. dogs and ferrets) included in price

- Feeding your pet(s) as required and providing access to fresh water (please leave enough pet-food for the duration of my visits)

- Basic medication - non injectables

- Keeping your cat/pet(s) in a hygienic condition - any litter trays are kept clean. At each visit, I will check each room (that your pet has access to) for any messes and clean up

- Basic grooming 

- Spending time with the cat/pet(s) and playing with them 

- Daily email updates if desired

- Keeping in contact with you regarding any changes with your pet(s), any signs of illness or injury are reported to the owner and if required, bringing your pet(s) to the vet, when agreed to by the owner or in an emergency 

- Small pets: my service includes taking care of small pets (exc. ferrets), which includes tidying cages, feeding, and doing a full clean of cages if the booking is more than 4 days

- House / flat/ apartment locked up and secured after the booking (please provide all details to ensure this)

- All keys returned at the end of booking as instructed by you

- Mail collected

- Rubbish/Trash taken out if needed (please provide details of bin collection days)

- Basic house plant watering and garden pots

Expected from you as an owner:

As a sitter, I want the best for your cat/pet(s), so, before I take care of your pet,

- Please disclose any behavioural issues of your cat/pet(s)

- Please provide any special requirements or instructions including portion sizes of food, if applicable

- Please label any medication properly, include clear dosage instructions, timings (if applicable), and whether it needs to be taken with food. Please ensure enough medication is provided for the duration of my visits

- Please share information about where the cat/pet(s) is allowed to go (include details of access to cat flap), and where your cat(s) should use the toilet (outside or litter tray). If a litter tray is provided, please ensure enough litter is available for the sitting period

- Please close the doors to any rooms that are off-limits to your pet(s) and please ensure windows are shut

- Please provide emergency contact details

- Please provide details of usual vet practice

- Please ensure enough food is provided for the entire sitting period

- Please provide easy and safe access to the house / apartment for your pet (and me)

- Please provide pet-food and cleaning supplies in a convenient location

- If you have a security camera(s), inside or outside the house, please disclose this before the booking
