Hi there! Welcome to my profile, and thank you so much for stopping by. My name is Alain - I live in Barnes and I love dogs and cats! Born and raised in the Surrey countryside I have looked after animals most of my life; we had plenty of pets of all shapes and sizes! Dogs, cats and even a goldfish named Fred. 🐶🐱🐠
For me pets lift a space and I look after them for the love of it. They are not just a pet, they are a family member. I also house sit and look after many lovely homes in London and Surrey such as Cobham, Oxshott, Richmond, Barnes, Mortlake, Kew, Putney, Woking, Marylebone, Pains Hill, Fairmile and many more.
I show my respect by maintaining the beautiful standards of your premises, cleaning and maintaining the upkeep of the house. I always make sure your pets are happy and comfortable during a stay, sending photos and updating you while you’re away. Whether they are with me in my apartment or at home in your habitat I believe that maintaining their routine is important. 🐶🏡
I grew up with a menagerie of pets including our beloved cats. Hira was the mother, Socrates was the father and Tree was the daughter! I spent my formative years with these three and since then I have built up a client base of regulars who trust me to look after their beloved canine and feline friends. 🐱
I have a calm, ambient place where I work from home so fortunately I’m able to provide a flexible schedule and adapt to you and your pet’s routine. Please feel free to let me know if you have any special requests. It’s always so helpful to know. 🙏
Living in Barnes, it’s an incredibly green, calming and pet friendly area! My private flat with a fenced garden is just a one-minute walk to nearby areas such as Harrods Village, Castelnau Conservation Area, the Wetland Centre in Barnes village and Leg o’ Mutton reservoir, to name a few. These are very leafy, lovely and serene areas - very calm and gentle for your pets. I am also very nearby to Hammersmith Bridge which is ideal for dog walks along the riverbank. 🌿
I provide a range of fun and stimulating games and exercises to keep your pet physically and mentally engaged. There is a nearby private park, accessible only by residents, that I go to regularly.
I always like to schedule a meet and greet ahead of the booking as I think it’s so important for you to get to know me and for us to discuss your pet’s needs, including their routines, likes and dislikes, meal times, how long their walks are and getting to know their individual characters. Or alternatively how you like your home run for house sits.
I maintain the highest standards, providing you with regular updates including photos to make sure you feel reassured your pet is having a good time.
Being an artist I also like to leave a little drawing at the end of the stay (if you wish). They’re not just a pet, they’re a family member.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
