We’re Ruby and Chris, childhood sweethearts, engaged and living in a cosy home in East Putney. Ruby is a physiotherapist and Chris is a civil servant. We both grew up with dogs and love having them around, but we travel just a little too much at the moment to have one of our own.

We’ve only opened our calendar on days when we work from home or are at home during the weekend, as we don’t want any dog left alone for long. We’re active and outdoorsy, so weekends are for long walks, parks and trails, and most weekdays start with a walk or jog.

Over the years we’ve cared for a variety of dogs through family, friends and sitting, including large energetic breeds, small companion dogs, seniors and those that need a gentler approach. We’re confident with giving medication, supporting older dogs at their pace, and helping more nervous dogs settle in with a calm environment, routine, and patience. Every dog has a different personality, and we adjust our approach to suit them.

Our home is tidy, calm and dog-friendly. Our garden is only partly fenced but is enclosed within a gated community, outdoor time will always supervised regardless. We will you secure harnesses or and lead of choice on walks, double check doors and gates, and keep dogs close when walking near roads or distractions. Safety is really important to us, and we will follow any rules or routines you have in place.

We treat every dog as part of the family, try our best to keep to their normal schedules, and send regular updates so you can relax while you’re away. We’d love to care for your dog and make them feel happy, safe and at home.
