I'm a PhD student living with my partner in the Clapham area. I grew up with a dog (a cocker spaniel named Barney) and absolutely love dogs. Unfortunately the flat we currently live in is not suitable for, and doesn't allow, having a dog.

I love walking in Clapham common as a break from my computer screen on weekdays and it would be a pleasure to have a dog with me on these walks too. It always brightens my day to see the common full of dogs playing and running around.

As a PhD student who goes into the office only once or twice a week and doesn't have many meetings, I am fairly flexible to do my work around dog walking and sitting. The only day that I regularly can't do is Wednesdays, as this is always an office day for me. Other than that, I am happy to do weekday dog walks and drop-ins to check up on your dog while you're out.

I'm also happy to dog-sit in your home (unfortunately cannot offer to have your dog stay at mine as it doesn't allow dogs) for any length of time, whether you're out for a few hours or on holiday.
