Hello, I’m Jon! I'm an experienced and truthworthy pet sitter, based in Clapham. I have a huge love of pets, especially cats and dogs!

I've pretty much always had pets in my life in some way, having grown up with a succession of dogs as a child. As an adult, I've been able to provide forever homes for two wonderful rescue dogs and an ex-service German Shepherd who spent a well-earned retirement snuggling with me.

Having experience of rescue animals means that I know how to handle everything from nervous temperaments to senior pets needing medication and I'm very happy to provide basic medication with clear instructions. I've also spent a lot of time looking after cats for friends and family, including staying at people's homes to take care of their feline friends while they're away.

My photos show a mix of some of my own pets from over the years, not to mention those that I've been privileged to spend time with and look after!

I offer dog walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting for dogs and cats. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your pets are happy.

Alongside petsitting, I’m currently studying for a new professional qualification having recently had a career break from management. That means I’m regularly available during weekdays and I can be super flexible with visits or house sits to meet the needs of you and your pets. 

I plan my schedule carefully to make sure every booking gets the time and attention it deserves. My study schedule is currently alternating weekends (this will change in March 2026 meaning a lot more weekend availability) but I make sure that my calendar is always up-to-date, especially with regard to holiday periods.

Pet sitting is an absolute win-win for me as it offers flexibility and means I get to spend time with animals, and that's always been a passion of mine!

I believe every animal deserves to feel safe and cared for on their own terms. Because I’ve worked with rescue animals, I understand how important it is to build trust. I also know as a pet owner how important it is to have confidence that your pets are safe while you're away for any period of time, short or long, so I'm really keen to set up meet and greets to make sure that everyone is happy in advance.

Sadly, I'm not in a position to offer boarding in my home at present, but I’m very happy to stay in yours for short or medium periods. I'm happy to water plants, make sure that things remain tidy and collect post while you’re away, although I do ask people to remember that the focus is always on your pets!

For me, pets have always been family and my aim is always to make sure that other people's pets are treated with the care and love that comes with that.
