Hello,

I live in Isle of Dogs with my girlfriend and our 2.5-year-old Cocker Spaniel, Odin. I work full-time and go to the office two to three days a week, but my partner is at home on those days. She is also very experienced in dog care, she previously owned two French Bulldogs (currently living with her family abroad). Because of this, visiting dogs are never left without attention, and there is always someone at home.

I have also cared for a Siberian Husky in the past, so I have strong experience with dogs of different energy levels and temperaments.

For boarding and daycare, we follow a calm and structured routine. We start the day with a morning walk, a bit of playtime, and a settling-in period. Throughout the day, depending on your dog’s needs, I provide mental stimulation, outdoor walks, or calm one-on-one attention. I never leave visiting dogs alone with Odin; all interactions are supervised, gradual, and safe.

When introducing new dogs to Odin, I always prioritise safety. We begin with a short, on-lead meeting in a neutral outdoor area so they can read each other’s body language. If both dogs seem comfortable, we slowly increase their interaction. Odin is playful and friendly, but I always respect the visiting dog’s boundaries and comfort first.

I adapt my approach to each dog’s personality:

• For energetic dogs, I offer longer walks and structured play.

• For shy or anxious dogs, I provide quiet spaces, slow introductions, and gentle reassurance.

• For more dominant or reactive dogs, I maintain calm, controlled handling and use distance-based walking when needed.

Walks range from 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your dog’s age, breed, and energy level. I always consider weather conditions, joint comfort, and safe walking routes.

Communication is very important to me. After each walk or visit, I send photos, updates, and observations about your dog’s behaviour, mood, or appetite.

My goal is to make sure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and well-cared for while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your lovely dogs.
