I have a couple of years experience of house and dog sitting, with the last 6 months spending most weekends with at least one dog. 

I have sat for a range of different breeds and ages from cheeky labrador puppies to energetic spaniels to little lap dogs that just like a cuddle when their mums and dads are busy.

In the past i have used borrow my doggy, rover.com as well as volunteering to walk elderly neighbours dogs. I have also been a sitter for dogs inside a hotel.

The main thing is being able to help you and spend time with your furry friend. I always wanted a dog of my own but due to living in a rented flat it has not been allowed. One day though. I have also realized that the responsibility for full time for 16-18years is alot while I have settled into anything else yet. I'm also single so its nice to have some company every now and then.

When I'm with a dog the time is all about living for their happiness. So I will walk them to your schedule, feed them to your schedule and play with them all day. I appreciate the rules that you have set fornyoir dog and will follow them to the best of my ability.

For example in the past one of my dogs I sat was only allowed treats after the walk and he would race in and sit under the treat bin after our walks. Whilst another dog was only allowed on the sofa if she asked to sit on it, and would only get up when someone invited her.

I have also given oral medication while in food or mixed with peanut butter.

Every family trains dogs differently so I am flexible. Also it is super important for the dogs to have consistency and routine so happy to follow whatever occurs in the norm.

I also have a full time job 9-5 mon-fri, there is opportunity to bring a dog I know well to my office as well as work from home 3 days a week. I can do most eves and weekends. Longer house sitting can be agreed as long as I can work from the house etc.
