Hello! I’m Berfin. In Turkey I have seven dogs—two large breeds (a Cane Corso and a Labrador Retriever), three medium-sized dogs (two Pit Bulls and one Dogo Argentino mix), and two small breeds (a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Jack Russell Terrier)—as well as nine cats at my home. I lived with my furry friends for nine years, so I can truly say that I grew up with pets. I have spent enough time with them to understand their needs, personalities, and routines, and I have experience caring for dogs of different breeds and sizes. Coming from a home full of pets, I miss them a lot.

While I was doing my degree at Essex, I worked as a dog sitter for three years. In addition, I have two years of pet care experience in London and would be very happy to take care of your pets and take full responsibility for them.

If your pet is on medication, I can administer it according to your instructions. This is something I am very familiar with, as I have done this many times with my own dogs.

I do not have any pets in my flat, so I can comfortably take care of up to two small- to medium-sized dogs at the same time. As large dogs require more responsibility, I can care for only one large breed dog at a time. I believe taking dogs for walks twice a day, in the morning and evening, is usually sufficient; however, I am flexible and happy to adjust according to your pet’s routine.

Additionally, I live with my sister. In the rare situation that I need to go out, your pets will never be left alone at home—even for a short time—as my sister can stay with them. Since we both grew up with pets, we are very good at empathizing with them. I understand how stressful it can be for animals to be alone in an unfamiliar environment, so I make sure they always feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

My flat is very suitable for pets, and we do not have strict house rules. Your pets are welcome to sleep on the couch or even on the bed if that is what they are used to. Hyde Park is just a 10-minute walk from my home, and we can enjoy our walks there.

I can guarantee that I will carefully follow all instructions and pay close attention to your pet’s needs, as long as you inform me of anything important I should know or do.
