I'm a medical student at Imperial College, originally from Singapore. Back home, my family includes 2 dogs (Pomeranian and Westie), and they've been with us for about 10 years now. I do miss my dogs and I'd like to be able to spend my free time with other pooches (while earning some pocket money!).
I love walking and distance doesn't bother me much. The Thames is a 20min walk from my house and I pass by a cemetery (more of a small park with squirrels and benches, really) on the way. To get to my campus in South Kensington, it's a 40min walk and I like to make a detour to Holland Park/Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park whenever I can. I'd be happy to take your dog to any of these places if he/she has the energy :-)
A bit more about my dogs in Singapore, they can be quite territorial and impolite, meaning naughty dogs won't be a huge problem for me. My Westie tends to get ear infections and tick problems, so I've also got some experience cleaning out dog ears and de-ticking in addition to bathing dogs. My Pomeranian's a bit old and losing her appetite, and I spend a lot of time sitting on the floor trying to feed her with my hands. I'll do the same for your dog if needed!
