I'm Josselyn, I'm a mix of Ecuadorian and Spanish. I currently live just a 15-minute walk from Brixton Station and 9 minutes from Loughborough Junction Station. I work in the office most of the time and also have a side job as a dog sitter.

When I’m working, my family supports me with my small dog care and dog boarding business. As a family, we love animals, specially dogs. We used to have a lovely German Shepherd mix (you can see him in the profile pictures). He battled stomach cancer a few years ago. He was a very special dog to me because my dad gave him to me as a gift.

I had him since I lived in Spain. I rescued him when he was just 3 months old. We grew up together, and when I moved to the UK, he came with me. At home, I treated him like a little boy. He was very well-behaved, loving, and charming, super friendly with people and kids. He was such a gentleman! He even used to gently take my mum’s hand and lead her to the sofa after she came home. Such beautiful memories.

Having a dog teaches you that distance is never a limitation, they become part of your family, like a child. The love they give is genuine and pure. Dogs truly are a human’s best friend: they feel your emotions, stick by your side through ups and downs, and protect and love you unconditionally.
