About Brea
About Me
Hi, my name is Brea! I recently quit my job in finance to focus on my startup in the mental health space— my second biggest passion, after dogs!
I grew up around dogs, including a very spirited Jack Russell Terrier, so I'm no stranger to handling quirky canine personalities. These days, I get my dog fix by spending time with friends' and neighbours' pups whenever I can. I’ve also completed a pet first aid course to ensure your dog's safety is always a top priority.
Now that I work for myself, I have the freedom to shape my own schedule and work from anywhere, meaning I can spend plenty of time with your dog! You’ll likely find me working from a (dog-friendly) café in my local area (Aldgate/Tower Hill) or setting up in a park when the weather’s nice.
I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. While I can't host dogs in my home (sadly, my flatmate is allergic), I’d be thrilled to care for your furry friend in the comfort of your home!
My Pet Sitting Preferences
While I have a special soft spot for larger breeds (the bigger the cuddle, the better!), I adore dogs of all shapes and sizes. From tiny lap dogs to energetic working breeds, I’m happy to care for them all. I’m also open to looking after cats and small animals, so no need to worry if you have a multi-pet household!
I’m quite active and love a long walk, so if your dog needs plenty of exercise, we’ll be a perfect match. Whether it's a brisk hike for a high-energy pup or a gentle stroll for older or more relaxed dogs, I’m happy to adapt to their pace.
My Dog-Sitting Style
Every dog has their own unique personality, and I’m all about making sure your pup feels comfortable and happy in their own way. Whether they love playful fetch sessions, cuddling on the couch, or prefer a bit of solo time, I’m happy to adapt to their needs and ensure they get the attention (or space) they prefer.
I’m lucky to be surrounded by some of the city’s best dog-friendly spots. My go-to parks include Haggerston, Shoreditch, and Abney Park Cemetery (a little further out but always worth the trip!). I’ve also spent time living near Hampstead Heath and love the walk along Regent’s Canal, so if your pup’s up for an adventure, we can hit some of these beautiful spots together.
As for the extra touches, you’ll definitely receive plenty of photos of your dog living their best life, and if inspiration strikes, don’t be surprised if you end up with a custom painting of your pup (I have a whole series of oil paintings of dogs in fancy suits!).
