Hi! I’m Lauren, I am currently having a pause from my university studies due to a few health issues I have been experiencing. Because of this I am currently unable to work a regular job and so am looking for ways to gain a bit of extra money through doing something I love, which is caring for animals! From dogs, hamsters and even chickens, I have cared for them all and love every minute of it. Connecting with animals has always been something that has come naturally to me, sometimes it feels like they understand me more than people do.

I have cared for a family friend’s dog before and grew up around various dogs owned by family so I have plenty of knowledge and confidence in my ability to ensure their needs are met. I can guarantee that if I am the lucky one chosen to care for your furry friend they will definitely be spoilt!

I own chickens and so have ample amounts of experience with them. Anyone with chickens of their own can be reassured that they will be coming home to a flock of very happy hens if under my care.

Although I do not have much experience with cats, I am comfortable caring for them also as long as I am given clear instructions on how best to do so.

Having pets of my own, I take the wellbeing of animals very seriously so any instructions you give in regards to caring for your beloved pets will definitely be followed correctly.

I am currently living in a house with my mum, in certain circumstances I may be able to have pets in the house, but I hope you can understand that I will have to check that it is okay with my mum beforehand. The pets will also have to be okay around animals such as chickens, as I have three lovely little hens living in my back garden. My garden is a small/medium size, securely fenced and there are plenty of places nearby to go for walks.

Due to my current circumstances of not being able to study or work a regular job, this means that my schedule is incredibly flexible and I will be free most of the time. I am happy to work any day and time of the week as long as I have at least 24hrs notice beforehand, it is whatever works for us both at the time. I am not planning to make this a full time job or career, I am simply trying to find a way to earn a bit of extra money through doing something that brings me joy and still allows me some flexibility when needed. I really miss my pets that have passed, so any excuse to be around animals I will take.
