We are a family with lots of dog-love to give: Luna, who is 15 and her Dad, Michael, who is ageless, now host our dog guests together. Chico, the son, now works fulltime, and so dodges the responsibilities but get the fun out of our dog hosting.

We love looking after dogs and it's a great environment for dogs and their attached humans around here. Ours is a large house with a large garden and with nearby woods and 3 large parks - Wardown Park, Pope's Meadow, People's Park - all within a short walking distance.  

We have lived in this house for the past 20 years. There is plenty of room for your pet to wander. We are experienced in looking after all sorts of dogs.  

I work from home a lot of the time - running my own film company. My daughter has a normal school day. So, there is nearly always one of us around overseeing your dog.  

We have a good-sized garden, but we will always keep your dog on a long leash there, unless we absolutely know they are a non-bolter. We would never leave your dog in the garden alone, with always one of us keeping them company and keeping an eye on them. And making sure they have water.  

Dogs we will not host: Rescue dogs, Staffies, Bulldogs, Dobermans, Rottweilers or any crosses of these breeds. Nor pure bred Huskies - sorry they are amazing, but we have tried and they have destroyed us! We realise all dogs are different, but that's where we stand. After several trials, we do not host Rescued dogs any more. It is too traumatic an experience for them, being 'abandoned' by their new no doubt very loving owners, and because of the unknowable psychological damage inflicted before their Rescue, it just makes it too stressful for them to be hosted in our experience.
