Hi! My name is Lucy, I've lived with pets my whole life and always loved animals. For a period whilst I was younger, I really wanted to be a vet, however changed that plan knowing I'd be too upset seeing animals in pain.

At the moment I live with my cat Japer who is 15, and also our rescue Bella who's a Collie and a Jack Russel cross Max. However, throughout my life I've also had experience with fish and birds. From an early age I've been living with dogs and I love them, however Bella was a completely different experience as she is a rescue, so therefore came with more challenges. She was very nervous with people when on walks or even anoyone new in the house, but we tried to help her get used to this by slowing introducing her to more people, so I definitely feel I'm capable of looking after dogs with trusting problems. Max has also from a puppy had issues with other dogs and anything that has wheels, therefore I've also had experience with dogs with behavouriable problems.

Cats I've been looking after since we first had ours as kittens, and I adore them just as much as dogs. They need just as much care as every dog does, so i love sitting in with them and playing when they've had any alone time. From having our own cats and also doing some house sitting for my sisters cat, whenever she's been away on holiday, I feel completely comfortable with looking after them.
