Hi, I'm Lizzy! I've been housesitting since 2020 - I housesat for a friend's gentle and playful cat for 2 weeks, and I've been hooked ever since! Looking after cats, dogs and chickens in multiple countries as well as around the UK has been an absolutely wonderful experience - reviews from external sites available on request. I'm absolutely a cat lady at heart but have a real soft spot for rabbits and guinea pigs.

I grew up with guinea pigs and walking friends' dogs, and owned house rabbits in the past - very fun and rewarding pets! As well as the last few years of housesitting my experience includes volunteering at a small wildlife rescue and on small farms in Norway & Finland. 

My priority is always the pets and home in my care, and I'll do everything I can to keep your pets happy and house safe. I totally understand nervousness or worry about leaving your pet & home in the hands of a sitter, so I ask plenty of questions upfront to make sure everything is completely clear and I have all the details I need to follow your routines and keep the home secure. I love to take photos of pets so I always make sure to send these at each visit or a couple of times per day on overnight sits (or as requested by the owner).

I only do housesitting in a client's home, and am unable to board pets in my home.
