Hi! I am an international student at the University of Manchester, currently pursuing my postgraduate studies. Back home in Malaysia, I have three wonderful cats: Maple, Merlin, and Mario. Maple, our little diva and queen of the house, was a stray that I found near a vet when she was just a kitten. She quickly made herself at home and now rules with a royal air. Merlin, a sweet golden British Shorthair, came into our lives through adoption, and I always feel he deserves the world. Then there’s Mario, a little gremlin we found lost in a drain outside our house when he was just a tiny kitten. Now, he’s the chubbiest of them all, full of personality and mischief.

My family and I have always been passionate about caring for cats. My sister, who is a vet, taught me everything I know about pet care, ensuring that our furry friends are always happy and healthy. Unfortunately, I had to leave them behind when I moved to Manchester, and they are now under the loving care of my family.

Since moving here, I’ve missed my cats terribly. Taking care of them was part of my daily routine, and their absence has left a void. I decided to become a pet sitter to fill that gap and raise money to eventually bring my cats over to join me. More than that, I want to help other pet owners by providing their beloved cats with the same love and attention that I would give to my own.

To me, pets are more than just animals; they are family members who bring joy and comfort, especially during stressful times like studying. Every time I see a cat, I am reminded of my own, and caring for them brings me immense happiness. By becoming a pet sitter, I hope to make a difference in the lives of both cats and their owners, providing peace of mind and a loving environment for every furry friend in my care.
