-Trained in animal first aid and CPR - Competent with all breeds/ages of dogs and cats. - Able to administer almost all medications - Confident in grooming both long and short haired pets - Confident with most behavioural issues and have learnt many types of training techniques. -Confident with not only newly adopted puppies/kittens/bunnies but also pets adopted from rescue centres 🥰 My career began in veterinary before working for the ambulance service as a medical technician. For over 5 years I worked in and around Greater Manchester as a veterinary nursing assistant, which is where I have developed nearly all of my valuable skills. I have also volunteered at numerous animal sanctuaries, which has given me a great deal of experience with all types of rescue animals. I have bags of experience with all types of animals and am competent in first aid and animal CPR…as well as humans😊I can administer most medications and have been trained in restraint as well. In my personal life I have grown up with almost every type of pet from dogs to donkeys! At the moment my mum in Ireland has a deaf, old English sheepdog, who is now, almost 40kg😅Púca is our 6th OES and was adopted from a rescue centre after being abandoned with his brother at 7weeks. Our previous doggo was also deaf, so we have all had to adapt and learn new training and behaviourally techniques(especially while out walking)to make them comfortable and confident. Although I have had large dogs most of my life, working in veterinary has made me confident with smaller breeds too😁I also have 1 cat back home in Ireland and an adopted fur baby here in Manchester who belongs to my boyfriend. This has helped refresh my skills in nail clipping, grooming and flea/worming applications with cats🥰🐱
