I've been fortunate to have Harry (11-year-old bichon ) in my life and I know and understand how important dogs are and how they deserve quality care and attention when their owners can't be with them. I used Pawshake to board Harry when I lived in London; he was always well cared for and, most importantly, happy.
I would not wish to inflict a kennel-type experience on Harry and I'm sure many other owners feel precisely the same way. Your dog will be exercised, have plenty of options to play, access to a large and secure grass-covered garden.
I moved to Market Harborough just before the first lockdown and found it hard to find places to board Harry when I had to travel so I decided to offer myself as a host. I have looked after friends' dogs in both London and here and I always make time for some play in their day as well as offering 2-hour long walks each day.
I will take dogs of all ages, including puppies and I'm happier with dogs the same size as Harry or smaller. If required, I'm happy to keep owners up to date with regular whats app photos during the stay and I will need to you provide feed and medication ( if required ) to cover the period of the stay.
I can only take vaccinated dogs and can't host females in season,

Chris went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I and our dog Maddie were comfortable and happy. His communication from the first point of contact all the way through to when we collected Maddie after a weekend away was fantastic. We received updates and photos of Maddie throughout our stay which really put our minds at ease. Maddie was completely relaxed and happy - she took an instant liking to Chris. We would 100% recommend Chris and will definitely be using him again when we need someone to look after Maddie.
First time we put our dog in for Doggy Day care and was great experience from start to finish in every respect. It was immediately obvious from pre meeting with Chris that Chris was ideal choice. He is very fond of dogs and keen to look after others and properly care for them. The fact he had a Bichon Frise for 10 years was icing on the cake as we have a young one ourselves and they socialised tremendously well. We dont have frequent reqt for Doggy Care but when we do we would definitely be delighted to have Ted stay with Chris and Harry (his Bichon).. Thanks Chris, Brian and Debbie
