1. Hi folks, I am a friendly, quirky, 'mature' woman with a passion for animals, especially dogs, available for house sitting only. I have recently completed a fine art degree whilst looking after dogs in the village I lived, and due to a change in circumstance's have decided to continue dog sitting to allow me to combine my love of looking after dogs and being an artist. I have cared for pets since childhood, most recently having two dogs, one of which was a deerhound, so I am used to larger breeds, but big or small, I love them all. Being conscientious, I always treat any pet in my care with respect, provide enrichment, and as much fuss as they can handle. I do not own any pets at the moment and I don't have any dependants, so I am very flexible with my time and have the availability for long stays. Walking is something I do everyday, without fail, so being able to do this with a four legged companion or two will make it all the better. I am responsible and conscientious, so your animals, plants, belongings, and anything else (no children please 😬), will be well taken care of. I drive, so I'm open to any areas in the UK. I'm looking for adventures and love exploring new places.

      My other passion is art, so around giving the best primary care to the pets I am looking
after, I will spend my time drawing, you might even be left with a drawing of your dog!

 Julie is a fantastic lady. Loves all dogs and is an absolute boon to have if we are away. My dogs, Rosie and Ralph, adore Julie and when she has looked after them, I know they couldn't be in better care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Julie to anyone who needs their doggies to be taken care of. She is one of the kindest and most caring individuals you could ever hope to get to look after your doggies. Just ask my little girl, Rosie Whippet, and she will tell you how amazing Auntie Julie is.

With reference to a poor review I received. There was one particular dog that had challenging behavioural needs that were not communicated, resulting in a couple of destressing incidents. No meet and greet was wanted by the client, and very little information overall was given. I am more than happy to discuss what actually happened on the sit and the abusive messages I received after, if anyone should wish to know.
