I am a cat owner and currently my 2 boys are 16. I've had them both from 6m from the Cats Shelter, I took 2 brothers as didn't want to separate them.
Both are spoilt, enjoy weekly catnip sessions and have their own snuggle blankets and they get a groom once a week.
I've walked dogs in my local area helping out when people have been busy, a couple of times per week walking off road on the moor, somewhere nice and quiet, green and away from traffic but also walks on trails and parks.
I used to work at Guide Dogs for the Blind so always had a puppy or adult dog next to my desk, and I helped out in kennels - doing dog walks, cleaning, grooming, medication and taking temps. Quite often kennels were full and some dogs got scared being in kennels so I brought them home for the odd overnight stay giving them a break.
I work F/T so would be looking to offer my services either in the mornings, evenings or weekends. I'm looking for a few customers rather than lots so that so I can get to know each animal's personality, and likes etc. and build a regular customer base.
I am hoping to do this full time at some point and feel it suits my personality as I'm caring, love animals, a pet owner myself, a keen walker/runner and like being outdoors.
I would be delighted to feed your cats, check they are ok and spend some time with them or take your dog for a walk and feed/groom them.
I feel confident with most pets though don't have much experience of large/strong dogs so would prefer small and medium dogs. Thank you.
