Hi there, please read my full profile before contacting me with an enquiry.
My name is Rhiannon, I am a 28 year old cat and dog lover from the Wirral. I am experienced in sitting for friends and family, and I am looking to use my skills and love for animals as a little side earner while working full time.
I have always been around animals since a child and we have always had a house full. Over the years we have had cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and rats. My mum was always the "crazy cat lady" of the family - at one point we had 13 cats, most of them rescues and local stays who just kinda moved in. we have had a variety of breeds of both cats and dogs over the years including a Samoyed and 2 Estrela mountain dogs, Birman cat, Abyssinian cat, Bengal cat and lots of moggies.
About 4 years ago my partner and I moved into our own place and I took three cats with me and acquired a rescue Ragdoll. Now with my own brood of furbabies I have now become the second "crazy cat lady" of the family.
I am passionate about animals and my life revolves around my 3 little divas Jigglypuff, Freesian and Geraldine (a Ragdoll, and 2 domestic shorthairs) and my old boy Jake (lab mix who recently turned 16!). Freesian is 15, and Geraldine is 12, and I have had both of them from kittens (they are actually related too - Freesian is Geraldines great Auntie!). Jigglypuff is about 7, she is rescue who I got through a friend of a friend, I don't know much about her past but she wasn't in the best shape when she arrived. Now she is a happy carefree girl who loves to sleep and play, and she has the most mesmerising blue eyes! We recently lost our special boy Ronnie. we rescued him about 7 years ago and weren't sure on his age, but he was always ill despite numerous vet trips and treatments. However, he still had lots of joy in his life and was such a character, everyone who met him instantly loved him!
I regularly sit for my mum while she works away for a few days at a time, looking after her 4 cats and dog, as well as other friends and family.
Happy to either call in as required (early mornings and evenings after 5) for feeding/litter tray/poop scooping etc, or do overnight stays in your home at weekends. I can send you photos and updates as regularly to help reassure you on their well-being while you're away - I know how tough it can be leaving them in someone else's care.
Please note, while I am happy to travel a little further afield for Liverpool clients, I do ask for reimbursement of tunnel toll charges (£2 per visit) and mileage (45p/m) over 5 miles from birkenhead, otherwise it is not economical for me to take on the booking. If this is not something you wish to do then it may be better for you to find a more local sitter.
Finally, as a polite note, please only contact me with serious enquiries. Unfortunately, I have a lot of people time-wasting recently. I have to travel to see you and your pets before you book, but I do not get reimbursed for this. I understand that plans may change or you may have found that a friend, neighbour or family can look after your pet, but please be considerate of my time and costs and only make arrangements with me if you have exhausted other options and have an intention of booking.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
