I am 51 years old and love animals, especially dogs. I had a dog growing up, Sam who lived to 14 and we lost our collie Mitch 2 years ago, also aged 14. Over the past 2 years, we have looked after several friends dogs and many through Pawshake. This has helped fill the void and is now my part-time job. My partner Ashley also loves dogs and you can see a few cuddling with her in the profile pictures.
It will be a while before we are ready for another dog of our own so I am really keen to have other people's dogs stay with us. I know how stressful it can be for both owners and pets when they are separated
but knowing they will be well cared for can make a huge difference. Your dog will be the centre of attention and hopefully, we can become a home from home anytime you need to go somewhere.
I live in a quiet area in Dalkeith, near several parks and have a huge garden for your dog to play and feel safe. There are no children in the house and you are welcome to visit anytime to make sure it's perfect for your furry friend. I am motivated simply by the look of happiness on a dog's face when you give it attention, affection, food and walks. It's not difficult but I do take it seriously. I will keep in touch with pictures of your dog via WhatsApp
or Facebook as often as you want. Please contact us anytime for dog walking, daycare or overnight stays.
