Jade

Hi! I'm Jade, a recent Masters engineering graduate from Leeds University. I am a hard-working, outgoing person with a strong sense of responsibility. I'm on the lookout for flexible, joyful work before I start a full-time job that builds on a trusting relationship between me, the owners, and the pets.

Having lived by German forests for most of my life, I cherish green spaces and would love some company on my walks through nature. My family have owned two high-maintenace dogs (Border Collie Patch and Mini Aussie Penny <3), both of which we raised from pups, as well as tortoises and mice. My parents work full-time, and so I was constantly engaged in their care, including walks, food and training. I've gained a good sense of when a strict or encouraging tone is needed and would be happy to help progress training too. 

Alongside my family's pets, I am an absolute cat fan and have previously cared for the neighbour's cat and tortoises on daily visits. My partner owns two cats himself, which I visit (and treat!) often. I understand cats' body language well and know to respect their boundaries or give them the attention they demand!.

I know how much pets mean to us, and how particular we can be about their care. I'm well-organised and would be able to fulfil any specific care requests, updating you on the go for your own peace of mind. I'd love to sit or play with them at your house for up to 1 hour, or go for 30-90 minute walks to the prettiest green spots I can find!
