Hello, my names Jackie! Thank you for visiting my profile.
I recently took early retirement (very early, as I’m only mid-fifties!!), and thought this would be a great opportunity, as i am a real dog lover and can devote all my time and attention to your dogs/best friends in your time of need and get to meet lots of lovely dogs along the way!
I live in Barnet with my Husband of 32 years and our friendly terrier dog, Alfie, and would love to help look after your dogs and welcome them into our loving home with a large garden!
I don't have any animal qualifications, but I do have experience with multiple breeds as I have always had dogs and grown up with them, ranging from large grey hounds, terriers (all types of terriers!) schnauzers and jack russels. I can also promise to treat your dog as my own, and give a lot of love, belly scratches and walks to provide your pup with the happiest stay!
I love to walk and take my dog for multiple walks a day, which also means I have gained extensive knowledge of the best walk locations and different variations of walks to suit different dogs and built relationships with other dog walkers local to my area.
As a dog owner, I know how difficult and unsettling it can be to leave your dog with someone else, they are after all family, and our best friends, but I can assure you that any dog would be well looked after with us, and treated as our own. My priority is to provide your dog with the best possible care and make them as comfortable as possible, as separation is difficult for dogs too. We will of course also remain respectful of your rules, and routines and will follow your lead on this.

Percy has really settled in at Jackie's and had another lovely staycation. He is a dog who craves some extra attention at times, which he gets in abundance at Jackie's. He goes for lovely long walks and enjoys his home from home comforts. Jackie goes over and above expectations, and it is so reassuring to have regular updates with photos, where it is clear from his happy face and relaxed poses that he is having a great time! We really appreciated Jackie's understanding when we were unfortunately delayed and felt secure in the knowledge that Percy was safe and sound with her. A lovely lady and a natural dog-lover who provides a fantastic service. We couldn't have asked for more.
Another happy stay for Percy, he has settled in very well with Jackie and for a slightly reactive dog with a little separation anxiety, it's such a relief to have Jackie's calm approach. From the pictures and updates Jackie sent whilst we were away, Percy is treated as part of the household and is getting on really well with the family dog, cute little Alfie. We are so pleased to have found Jackie.
