My name is Sophie and I am a 32-year-old Mum of two young children and one four-year-old cat! I’ve lived and worked in the local area for nearly nine years with my native Kingstonian partner (whereas I've lived all over!)
Before having my youngest child in 2021, I worked as a SEND Teaching Assistant and have a degree background in Art & Design. I am currently enjoying spending time with my youngest child at home whilst also working in local pet sitting since December 2022, building upon 15+ years of pet care for my own animals and those of friends and family. I have been lucky enough to have been kept busy and have now worked with 40+ households and their pets since this time and can offer up to six visits a day for individuals (subject to availability). I have helped to look after cats, dogs, rabbits and hamsters but would love to expand my experience to rodents, reptiles, fish, birds, small mammals and beyond! I love to learn about animal care and welfare and am a fast and adaptable learner keen to learn about any and all pets. I am a friendly, confident and adaptable pet sitter and would love the opportunity to care for your furry friends!
I adore caring for and learning about animals and was lucky enough to grow up with an energetic hamster and a somewhat less energetic OAP border collie! I have had experience dog walking dogs large and small (the biggest rocking up at 40kg so far!). In my adult life I have lived in flat shares with cats and have had three adopted rescue cats. Our latest, Alba, has additional needs (cerebellar hypoplasia) and we have adapted well to the challenges this can bring and therefore do not feel intimidated about looking after animals with more complex needs.
During my visit I will happily feed, groom, cuddle and play with your pet or, alternatively offer them a calm stroke or simply presence... whatever their personality would enjoy. I am attentive and will always do what
is best for both you and your pets. I will clean bowls, top up water and food and clean litter trays as needed and keep you updated with photos and videos for your peace of mind. I am also happy to do jobs during my visit such as putting out bins on collection day and watering plants to make your life a little bit easier too.

Sophie is simply adored by our Loki. They’ve really bonded and Sophie has worked out the way to Loki’s goodbooks - treats and grooming! It’s so reassuring to know how well Loki is looked after in our absence
It was great to know Sophie was coming by to see our two cats whilst we were away for 2 weeks. She sent me an update after each visit including photos and even helped out by taking our bins in etc. Sophie is exactly the person you want to trust with your pets and your home!
