I love pets but specially cats and dogs, of all sizes and ages. We have always had pets in our family and treat them as valued family members. I also have experience taking care of sick or older cats and dogs.
I know that, just like people, they have different tastes and health concerns, so it's important to know what food each can eat, if they requiere medicine, their habits, the different types of hair (cats usually don't like being groomed but it's necessary with the hairier ones) and their personalities. Not a single pet is the same, they really are like people and have their own ways to communicate.
My most recent pets, Katniss and Gandalf, are cat fraternal twins born in 2014. I adopted them when they were two months old. They stayed in Guatemala with my family while I study in the UK. I would have never left them if I didn't know for sure that they will be well taken care of. I know that more than "pets", they are members of our family and finding the right person to take care of them is difficult. It's important to know that person can be trusted.
My current accomodation does not allow me to have pets but I could go to your home to help take care of them at your home. Particularly when they are sick or as they get older, it's worrying to leave them alone while working or doing other activities.
As a bonus, besides English, I speak Spanish and German, if it's easier for you to communicate in those languages.
I look forward to working with you and your four-legged family.

Flexible, allowed us to enjoy an evening out whilst caring for my anxious dog who was going through a particularly tense time.
