I have had pets all of my life - at home, we had a chihuahua and parrot for most of my childhood and we currently have a shih tzu, Hatchi, and a (second!) chihuahua, Tiger, in our family. I used to regularly dogsit a friend's bichon frisé - I love to spend time with animals, especially dogs, and would be sure to pay the utmost attention to your pet and help them to feel at ease and have fun while you are away. My chihuahua is extremely anxious, which has given me experience in taking care of more timid and fearful pets.
Additionally I believe that it's very important for animals to maintain their routine and stay in a safe and familiar space while their owners are away, so I would prefer to look after them right in their own home!
The services I offer are walking (>30mins), home drop-ins and overnight stays for as many consecutive days as are required. I have a full driving license so am available to drive anywhere in the Northampton area to take care of your pet.
