Hi Pet Parents,

I'm Jaimie (30 years old, female), and I'm here to help with your four-legged friends... home visits, dog walking, day care and house/pet sitting.

I grew up with a love for animals and the outdoors, riding and owning horses from a young age. Growing up my friends called my house 'Noah's Ark' because we had so many rescued animals - from dogs and cats, to fish, hamsters, budgies, and of course, the horses.

Beyond growing up with a menagerie of pets, I am very experienced professionally - since leaving school I have mainly worked freelance; as a groom/rider/trainer and as an equine & canine massage therapist, along with doing holiday cover - house sitting for clients, and looking after their horses and family pets.

I am very fortunate to now live at my parents beautiful country home - we have a large garden backing onto open fields and a public footpath directly opposite us. Sadly, we no longer have any furries to share it with (due to me travelling, and my mother too heart broken to have any more after the loss of our last beautiful dog and ancient cat), so looking after pets for other people seems the perfect solution!

Aside from my love of animals, I am a vegetarian, an aspiring writer, and have a passion for travel (my latest trip was last winter to South East Asia - where I visited Koh Lanta's famous animal rescue shelter - see pic, I couldnt even stay away from animals while travelling!). I've also studied and qualified as a yoga teacher, and now incorporate this whenever I can, enjoying helping others through yoga practice.

Home Visits:

I am happy to provide a home check service; visiting your fur babies at home once or twice during the day. This is ideal if you don't like the idea of your pets home alone all day, but don't need them walking - it's also a bonus for security! (it can also suit cat and small pet owners while on holiday).

During a home visit, apart from (the hopefully obvious!) lots of fuss and attention, I can look over general health/well being, top up waters, feed, let out in the garden, scoop cat litter trays, check on small pets, etc... Just get in touch to discuss your needs.

Dog Walking:

Struggling with walking? Lacking time during the week to walk your pooch? Or have super energetic canines that just need extra exercise during the day? Leave it to me (I need the exercise too!) - I can take them out for you, just let me know what they need :)

I'll generally only walk dogs together if they are from the same home (or if arranged by you with dogs that are already friends!), so your furries won't have to share my attention.

Overnight / Holiday House & Pet Sitting:

Going away overnight, or taking a well earned holiday and don't want to put your loved ones into kennels or a cattery?...I can help!

Relax while you're away knowing that your home and fur family are being looked after - I can stay in your home and look after your pets, which is much less unsettling for them than kennels/catteries, and has the additional bonus of your house not being left empty (which is of course better for security!). Just get in touch to discuss your needs.

Massage Therapy:

I'm also a fully qualified canine (& equine) massage therapist... we all know how pampered we feel after a good massage, and I love to do the same for dogs (& horses!), I can offer massage sessions at a discounted rate for paw shake clients (just get in touch for further details/my website info).

Fuel contribution:

Depending on distance a small fuel contribution may be required.
