I'm an animal lover and people person. Since signing up with pawshake I have gained more experience with different breeds of dogs especially as well as Cats and other animals. I have a genuine passion for what I do and will treat your pet as if he/she were my own with cuddles, exercise, care and attention.

So, a bit about me; I'm self employed and sing for my supper occasionally! Myself and my Mother Jacqui (Who is also a member of Pawshake) used to live in the South of England and we started Pet Sitting around 10 years ago. We never stopped and we absolutely loved it! It was lovely to build trust and friendships with our regular clients and spend the days doing what we love. We were extremely busy and have now decided to continue to offer our services in the North of England, Windermere and the surrounding areas.
Growing up I have always been around animals. Pets I have experience in looking after, including my own are; Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Rats, Lizards, Tropical fish, donkeys, sheep, geese, chickens.
I can also administer medications if need be. Our Cat Thomas, who is no longer with us, was diabetic and we would have to give him injections twice a day. So I feel quite confident with that. Jacqui and I have also looked after rescue Dogs who haven't had the best start.

We have experience looking after puppies from as young as 10 weeks old to more elderly Dogs. We have looked after breeds such as; Springer Spaniels, Cocker Spaniels, Labradors, Retrievers, Chihuahuas, Great Danes, Bull Mastiff, Bull Dogs, Bernese, Jack Russells, Collies, French Bull Dogs, Terriers, Shitzhus, Staffys, Irish Setters and plenty more!
Please note that my Mother Jacqui helps out with some of my Pet boarding occasionally. So, on your meet and greet with me you may get to meet Jacqui too!

Katy is fantastic, really flexible around arrangements and the dogs loved being with her.
What a lovely Dog Sitter. I was informed by Katie I would be met by her mum when I drop off my dog. Katy"s mum was very very nice. She updated me regularly on how my dog was doing and he went out on plenty of walks. I was so relieved how well my dog settled with the dog sitters as he's getting on a bit and thought he might have separation anxiety. But no he was perfectly happy as he slept for 3 hours after his first walk of the day. Would definitely use Katie and her mum again.
