We are a family of myself, my daughter and our cat Sapphire, we have recently lost our 17 year old chihuahua Star, who we miss dearly which has inspired me to set up this dog boarding.

Sapphire tends to wander off out most of the time so we hardly see her, but she is used to dogs being here and doesn’t batter an eyelid. I have a number of barriers to restrict any issues with the cat, escapes and to separate for dinner times etc.

We have previously had our own dogs Star, Ruby,Boycie, Peggy,Milo,Tommy, Lexie,Clyde, Baxter, Skye, some which have been rescues and others we have had from pups!

I am Level 3 qualified in Kennels & Cattery Management and Canine First Aid Level 2 (VTQ) with over 10 years of experience. I studied Psychology as a 3 year Undergraduate degree and moved on to studying a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology which allowed me to study animal behaviour and cognitive processes, also based on copious amounts of animal research.

I originally am from Essex where i was in charge of a large kennels and cattery with a capacity of up to 50 animals, with my mother in law until she sadly passed in 2021. We had a 4* kennels and cattery and my mother in law run her grooming parlour. My staffing consisted of 10 talented individuals, who helped look after our animals. We lived on a small holding which had a number of animals which we rehomed including, donkeys, horses, goats, dogs, cats, birds, tortoises, chickens, geese and ducks. We were certainly busy....

Most importantly, your pet will be treated as one of our own and lots of cuddles and play will be provided. I have lots of experience with all different breeds from little to large! I also have worked with dogs with behavioural issues, resource guarding, separation anxiety, inadequate socialisation and I have worked alongside rescues and behaviourists.
